EVOLUTION WITH THE CAREER FORUM

With more than 40 companies and NGOs, the 2007 Forum organized at National Cultural Center, was fully booked by the employers. The presence of associations such as CAMFEBA or GMAC or organizations like ILO proved that the Forum is now definitely an event of great interest in Cambodia for employers. The Forum also proved to be international with the presence of famous names, some Cambodian (MOBITEL, FIRST CAMBODIA) and some international (COCA COLA, ANZ, KPMG…).

The 3rd edition attracted 10 000 visitors. A qualitative survey showed the satisfaction of the visitors, overall the opportunity to find a job, the possibility to meet companies and also the possibility to better understand what a career is.

Actually, the Career Corner complemented the Career Forum by providing an integrated vision of employment in Cambodia. Visitors found a unique place to make a real choice about their career. They discovered what duties and functions each career entailed. They also had the opportunity to meet NGO, universities, professionals and even ministry officials to understand truly what a career was and the opportunities they had.
